Rayna Alexander studies political science and international affairs with regional focuses on the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa. Rayna has worked across the public and private sector including at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, the International Republican Institute, the U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Agency for International Development. Her passion for geopolitics and international affairs stems from her global upbringing as the child of a USAF Officer. Rayna is competent in French written communication and is currently learning Swahili and Hebrew.

As a scholar of Middle Eastern and African Affairs, I have had the privilege of visiting both regions to better enhance my understanding of the lived realities of Africans and Middle Easterners.
